DSCN8313_zpsihsgezsvThursday was spent travelling and checking in at the Super 8 Hotel in Duncan, burgers and beer was on the menu for dinner at the pub.
Friday started with rain so the Scavenger Hunt was delayed and in the case of some skipped entirely, for those who completed it was great fun. Friday evening BBQ was hosted by Bethany and Greg at their place in Cowichan Bay, a fun evening, great food and good company.

Phillip Funnell and his Pod-cycle!

Phil

Some of the club members may remember when Phillip visited the club’s regular Monday meeting and talked about his travels. He’s still at it and his “Pod-cycle” hasn’t stopped evolving.

“My new motorcycling philosophy is low-anxiety riding,” said Funnell. “Not going into the corners like the ragged-edge of terror, because I want to make it to the other side. I just toodle-along, toodle-along, and the people say ‘how fast are you going, Funnell?’ because I have a reputation of not being very fast, and I say ‘as slow as I can, as fast as I must.'”

Check out his latest visit to Murray, Kentucky here.
