You don’t have to be a member to ride with the Coast Riders. Our rides are open to all riders and are a great opportunity to meet some of the club members. Our ride guidelines are based on common group riding procedures and safety. We ride in packets of 5-7 bikes, with a road captain or two for each packet. In addition to hand signals, we use cell phones and many of us also use the UClear headset to stay in contact on the road. If you are joining a group ride, please review the Coast Riders group riding protocols:Icon of CR GroupRide Guidelines CR GroupRide Guidelines (435.7 KiB)

Check the Ride Calendar for upcoming club rides and to get an idea of the kind of riding we do over the course of the year. Many Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays have no “Destination” rides planned and members will meet at the A&W for coffee and to plan a route for the day. These rides leave at 10 am.

Another option, come out to a club meeting. You do not have to be a member to come to a meeting, talk with the members, check us out, ask questions. A Club Meeting usually held on the second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. Many come earlier (6:30 pm) for dinner and socializing.     Have a look here for the location and other details: Monthly Meeting
