Day 1 (Wed) – 7:30 a.m. Leave from Sumas, Washington to catch Keystone Ferry at 10:15 a.m. for Port Townsend.  Ferry trip is 45 min. . . Depart ferry at 11:00 a.m. and ride to junction Hwy 101. Turn south along Hood Canal  – traveling through Shelton, Abereen, McCleary, Raymond, Astoria and finishing in Seaside, Oregon. Day 2 (Thurs) – 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. leave Seaside.  Continue down Hwy 101 stopping at Tillamook, Oregon, at the naval air station museum located in huge wooden dirigible airship hangers. They were used to house airships in WWII.  Continue south on Hwy 101 to Coos Bay, turn east on Hwy 42 to Roseburg, Oregon.  Overnight at the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites  Book on line or by phone:(1-888-287-8265)

Day 3 (Fri) – 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. Before leaving Roseburg, consider purchasing food for your lunch/picnic as the lake area may be desolate. Leave Roseburg on Hwy 138 heading east to the North Entrance of Crater Lake.  Loop the lake with several stops to take in the views then go back out the north entrance heading East on Hwy 138 then turn North Hwy 97 to Bend, Oregon.  Overnight at the Days Inn. Day 4 (Sat) – 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. leave Bend heading North on Hwy 97 to Hwy 197 to The Dalles, Oregon.  Take Hwy 14 to Maryhill then go North on Hwy 97 to Goldendale, Washington (DH25). Take Hwy 142 ot Bickleton Hwy to Mabton.  Go north on Hwy 97 to Yakima, Washington.  From here take Hwy 821 (DH38) to Ellensburg.  Overnight at the Days Inn. (1-509-933-1899)

Day 5 (Sun) – 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. leave Ellensburg heading north on Hwy 97 to Winthrop for lunch.  Take Hwy 20 to Sedro Woolley then go north on Hwy 9 to Sumas then home.
