On Saturday, November 26, 2011, the Coast Riders is having its annual end of season banquet and dance to celebrate the riding season that we just had and to look forward to the upcoming season next year. As usual there will be great food, awards, the Tacky Gift Exchange and dancing with music supplied by our own Lindsay Robson.
The club is subsidizing the cost ($30 members, $40 guests) for the food AND supplying complementary wine for the tables.
Please choose one of the following:
- Braised Beef with Au Jus,
- Herb Encrusted Wild Salmon with a Sambuca Cream Sauce,
- Roast Turkey with a Cranberry Sage Dressing topped with Gravy,
- or Vegetarian options are available.
Please tell David Miller your choice dmille@shaw.ca by Nov. 20th as it is a sit down dinner and Eagle Creek needs to know ahead.
Tickets will be available at our next monthly meeting on Mon. Nov. 14th 2011.
If you can’t attend our Nov. 14th meeting, tickets can be picked up at the door, if you contact David Miller and tell him what meal you have chosen.

Here is an update of the Tacky Gift exchange.
1. Only those that brought a Tacky Gift can participate.
2. Overall, the gift exchange works like this: You bring a wrapped, inexpensive gift (tacky is the key word here) and it is placed along with the other ‘gifts’. Your name is then placed into a bin for later drawing.
3. When your name is drawn, you can come up and choose a gift of your choice. If you don’t like the gift then you can look at all of the other gifts that have been opened already and exchange your unwanted gift for any one of them.
4. Rules:
1. Person who goes first can have the option at the last of taking any gift that he wants
2. Person who is drawn, draws another name and calls it out before taking his prize.
3. Once they have a prize, they can exchange it for any gift that has already been given out.
If you have any questions, please contact David Miller (dmille@shaw.ca)
